Our Founder
Kibanda Tours and Safaris was founded by Fanaka Anatory, a visionary tourism professional born in 1994 in the western region of Tanzania. Growing up surrounded by natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, Fanaka developed a deep appreciation for wildlife, landscapes, and the unique identity of Africa from an early age.
He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in his home region, where his interest in tourism began to take shape. Driven by passion and curiosity, Fanaka made a bold decision to pursue a professional career in wildlife and tourism.
Education & Professional Foundation
Fanaka furthered his studies at the prestigious College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka, located in the Kilimanjaro region. Widely recognized as one of the best wildlife and tourism colleges in Africa — and globally respected — Mweka has a long-standing reputation for producing highly skilled conservationists, tour guides, and tourism professionals.

During his time at Mweka, Fanaka’s passion for tourism grew even stronger. It was here that the dream of establishing his own tour company was born.
Fanaka successfully graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Tourism and Conservation (or a closely related field), equipping him with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
